I used to love Tare Panda a lot. It's a character from San-X, a stationary/gift manufacturing company from Japan. Tare Panda is very lazy and loves to eat mochi, just like me ;)!
Left Bento: Tare panda made out of rice, nori and goat cheese. The mini panda is made out of hard-boiled egg, broccoli, strawberries, grapes, raspberries, kiwi, mandarin, lettuce and blanched bok choy.
Right Bento: Fried panko-coated shrimps (Ebi Furai), cherry tomatoes, blueberries, mini bear sausage, green tea mochi, potato salad, Bourbon vanilla truffle, broccoli, a slice of mandarin and strawberry.
Happy Weekend, everyone!
I think you should write a book about bento. You make cute ones.

ReplyDeleteThe Tare Panda is to cute! I will make something like this for sure!
ReplyDeleteThe thing with my kids bento is... that they don;t want to have things all together, but in individual containers or bags (fruit with fruit, veggies with veggies and so on) also because they have separate lunch breaks, and don't eat everything at once, and because they don't keep their bento straight, but just toss them round in their backpacks!
These beautiful bentos I can only do for picnics, or eating at home!
But so inspiring! And I like to make little faces on onigiri too :-)
ciao
