I had this bento for dinner yesterday. The strawberries are not perfect, but they still look quite adorable, don't you think? These are quail eggs tinted with beet juice. For the green part, I used the top part of mini peppers and the black dots are from toasted black sesame seeds. I also had blanched asparagus sticks to decorate the rice.
The other box is filled with spicy Korean Fried Chicken topped with toasted sesame seeds and a cherry tomato. I also included some slices of cucumber, a piece of mini pepper, lettuce and a strawberry.

I am not sure what I'll make for today's lunch. I am thinking of something with noodles... But we'll see! Sometimes it's really so hard to think of what to cook, do you have the same problem like me ?
I love quail eggs turning into strawberries! :-D I missed several posts of your websites the past few days, and I realized I missed your blog! I love coming here, that's all I want to say. :-)

The sticky and spicy Korean chicken is one of my favourite dishes in the world! The pink strawberries are beautiful and joyful. They make me think last week I saw white strawberries on the market (costing a fortune). I would have never guessed they were quail eggs.
