As promised, here is my husband's bento which I made yesterday, also with chicken karaage. The chick-balls (I call them chick-balls, because they look like cheese balls ;))are made out of mini Kartofellknödel (German potato dumplings).
I used a plastic bento container which I got from Maruyasu. Good that I didn't throw it away, I somehow knew that I would use it for my own bento...;).

Love the little chicks, the whole meal looks so delicious. I bet if I made my picky teen's meals into bento, she'd eat more!

Makes one want to rush to a Japanese store to have a bento immediately, but realized that hey, these bentos are not as pretty as the ones I saw in this blog..and then back to earth. If only they make bentos like these over here:D
