Green Tea Soba Soup with Ebi Furai

This was my dinner yesterday: green tea soba soup with fried panko coated shrimps, soft-yolked egg, naruto maki (fishcakes), omelet flower and chopped green onions.

This might look complicated but it was actually very simple to make, because the fried shrimps are store-bought and I only had to deep-fry them. The soup simply consists of hot water, dashi powder, soy sauce, mirin and Shichimi Togarashi (Japanese 7-spice powder).

Just like yesterday, I feel totally dead tired today....I hope I will feel more awake later in the evening - I am going to visit a concert!

  16. Today I'm going to talk about your fruits. Always it's side dish, but I want to say they are always decorated/served very nicely. I love green tea soba... Once it's warmer I can't wait to eat somen and soba! (mainly it's easy to cook...) Color, how you use up the space...very nice! Guess what I am planning to cook tonight. Shrimp Tempura. Wish me luck. I'm going to measure to make sure the right batter...if I fail, please wait for a little longer! LOL!

  18. Tks CG! Hopefully I can get it here :)
Coz I'm not able to find most of the products in the supermarket just walking distance from my Mom's house, maybe I'll have to go to the town area or other supermarkets to try my luck.. :)
    Enjoy your weekend! :D
